“People naturally assume because I am a Sex Expert I am always having swinging-off-the-chandeliers-kind-of-sex. They are surprised when they meet me to realize I am a pretty typical gal. Ironically, being typical helps give me a unique perspective on sex.” Dr. Trina E. Read
Regular TV and radio guest, international speaker, author, national newspaper and magazine columnist and very quotable Sexologist, Dr. Trina Read has one mission: To show people how to have fun, fresh and meaningful sex. She believes with sex-positive knowledge anyone can create a richer, more fulfilled sex life.
Her common sense, humorous and I’m-just-an-average-gal-too style puts her audience at total ease with their sexuality. Over and over again feedback has been, “It was like I was having an intimate conversation with my closest girlfriend.”
Acclaimed international speaker, Dr. Trina has had the privilege of connecting with hundreds of thousands of people across North America, Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Author of three books, Sex: The Basics; Sex: Random Thoughts; and Sex: Make it Fun and Meaningful. Her next book, Your Sex Makeover: For the Super-Busy Woman will soon be published.
Dr. Trina writes two newspaper columns and several magazine columns. Let’s Talk About Sex shows couples how to maintain a fresh outlook on sex over the long term. Sex Doctors to the Rescue is written with fellow Sexologist, Dr. Brian Parker, and takes couple’s hot-button sexual issues and dishes the male/ female side of the story.
Dr. Trina has been featured in First for Women, quoted multiple times in Cosmopolitan, as well as MSNBC News, Self, Marie Claire, Pregnancy, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Glow, Hitched, Women’s World, Hooters, Destinations and Honeymoons, Philadelphia News, Calgary Herald, Vancouver Sun and The Edmonton Journal, and numerous internet articles. She has been “Dr. Love” for ThermoSpa 2005 Radio Campaign.
She received a Doctorate of Human Sexuality from the world’s premier sex school in San Francisco, CA.
